In England, during the 14th century, a boy called "Asta's son" is falsely accused of being a thief and murderer. Now someone wants him dead too and he must escape. Asta's son takes with him the only possession he owns, a lead cross - which helps him find out his real identity. This story is an adventure that will keep you turning the pages. I highly recommend this book for 6th graders.

You feel like your standing right next to them the whole time,learning secrets you would never think of. Even though I'm half way through the book it is very interesting.
